Job Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical classes to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Develop and update curriculum and educational materials. Mentor and supervise students during their clinical rotations and research projects. Conduct and grade examinations, assignments, and practical assessments. Provide academic guidance and career advice to students.

Clinical Duties:
Oversee and manage the medical care of patients in the general medicine department. Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and specialized procedures. Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Participate in on-call duties and emergency care as required. Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices.

Research:
Conduct and supervise original research in the field of general medicine. Publish research findings in reputable medical journals. Apply for and manage research grants and funding. Present research at national and international conferences. Foster a research-oriented environment within the department.

Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and hospital administration. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies. Assist in the recruitment and training of junior medical staff. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and quality assurance processes. Manage departmental resources, including budgeting and procurement.

Qualifications:
MD or equivalent degree in General Medicine from a recognized institution. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in teaching and clinical practice. Proven track record in research with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. Proficiency in clinical procedures and patient management. Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities. Strong research skills and knowledge of research methodologies.
