Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Deliver lectures and conduct clinical training sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Develop and update curriculum in alignment with medical education standards. Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations and internships. Organize and participate in academic activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Clinical Duties:
Provide comprehensive care to patients in the general medicine department. Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and manage emergency cases. Supervise and collaborate with junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff. Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Research:
Engage in clinical and academic research projects. Publish research findings in reputable medical journals. Apply for research grants and funding to support departmental projects. Guide and supervise students and residents in their research endeavors.

Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental and hospital administrative meetings. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies. Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of departmental staff.

Professional Development:
Stay updated with advancements in the field of general medicine. Attend continuing medical education (CME) programs and professional development activities. Engage in self-directed learning and encourage the same among students and colleagues.

Qualifications:
Education: MD in General Medicine or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Experience: Several years of teaching and clinical experience, with a proven track record in a similar role.

Skills:
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent teaching and communication skills. Ability to conduct and supervise research. Leadership and organizational abilities. Proficiency in handling electronic medical records and healthcare management systems.

Work Environment:
The work environment includes a mix of clinical settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, emergency rooms, and classrooms. Interaction with a diverse group of individuals including students, medical professionals, patients, and administrative staff.
