Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Deliver lectures and conduct seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning. Prepare and update the curriculum and course materials. Supervise clinical teaching in the hospital setting, including bedside teaching rounds, outpatient clinics, and ward rounds. Mentor and guide students in their academic and research projects.

Clinical Duties:
Provide patient care in the affiliated teaching hospital. Participate in the management of the general medicine department, including outpatient and inpatient services. Supervise junior faculty, residents, and interns in clinical practice. Ensure high standards of clinical care and patient safety.

Research:
Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputable medical journals. Apply for research grants and funding opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects. Mentor students and junior faculty in research activities.

Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to decision-making processes. Assist in the organization and conduct of medical college events, such as conferences, workshops, and seminars. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Continuing Education:
Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in general medicine. Attend and present at national and international conferences.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications:
MBBS degree from a recognized institution. MD or equivalent postgraduate degree in General Medicine.

Experience:
Minimum of 4-8 years of teaching experience in a medical college or university, with at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor. Significant clinical experience in general medicine. Proven track record of research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Strong teaching and mentoring abilities. Excellent clinical skills and knowledge. Proficiency in research methodology and statistical analysis. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership and team management capabilities.
