Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Delivering lectures and clinical teaching to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) students. Developing and updating curriculum and course materials. Supervising and mentoring students in clinical settings. Conducting tutorials, seminars, and workshops.

Clinical Duties:
Providing patient care in the General Medicine department. Conducting outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and emergency duties. Supervising residents and interns in their clinical work. Participating in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Research:
Conducting and supervising research projects. Publishing research findings in reputable journals. Applying for research grants and funding. Guiding students in their research activities.

Administrative Duties:
Participating in departmental and college committees. Assisting in the organization of conferences, seminars, and academic events. Contributing to the accreditation and quality assurance processes. Engaging in community outreach and extension activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
MD or equivalent postgraduate degree in General Medicine from a recognized institution.

Experience:
Minimum of 1 to 5 years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident or equivalent. Relevant clinical experience in General Medicine.

Skills and Competencies:
Strong teaching and mentoring skills. Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills. Research aptitude and ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using medical education technologies and tools.
