About the Logistics Coordinator Role
A retail company in Sharjah is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, manage 3PL relationships and support the supply chain team in ensuring timely product delivery.
Candidates with a B.Sc or BBA in Logistics or Supply Chain and basic knowledge of UAE customs and import processes are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

Inbound Logistics
Coordinate inbound shipments from international suppliers; track shipment status, manage customs clearance documentation and update ETA records for the retail company.

Outbound Logistics
Coordinate last-mile delivery of customer orders through 3PL delivery partners; resolve delivery failures and ensure customer delivery SLAs are consistently met.

3PL Liaison
Manage daily operational communication with 3PL warehouse and delivery partners; report performance issues and support SLA compliance tracking.

Documentation
Prepare and verify shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and customs declarations for import and export.

Tracking and Reporting
Monitor shipment tracking, prepare logistics performance reports and provide daily status updates on critical inbound and outbound shipments.
Candidate Requirements

Education
B.Sc or BBA in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration; UAE customs and freight forwarding knowledge is a strong advantage.

Knowledge
Understanding of UAE import regulations, Incoterms, freight forwarding processes and last-mile delivery operations in the Sharjah and UAE market.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with logistics TMS platforms and UAE customs clearance portals including Sharjah Customs is preferred.

Soft Skills
Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously, problem-solving mindset and excellent communication with 3PL service providers.
