About the Event Manager Role
A hotel in Dubai is hiring an Event Manager to lead the planning and delivery of large-scale corporate events, gala dinners, weddings and MICE events across the hotel's event facilities.
Candidates with a Bachelor's in Event Management or Hospitality, CMP certification and 5 to 9 years of hotel events management experience in Dubai or the UAE are preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy
Develop and deliver comprehensive event proposals for corporate clients, wedding couples and MICE organisers; present creative concepts and detailed execution plans.

Client Management
Own the client relationship from enquiry to post-event follow-up; manage client expectations, handle changes and ensure complete client satisfaction throughout.

Team Coordination
Coordinate all hotel departments involved in event delivery including F&B, AV, décor, security and accommodation to ensure seamless event execution.

Budget Management
Manage event budgets; prepare detailed cost estimates, negotiate with suppliers and maximise hotel revenue yield from all event bookings.

Post-Event Review
Conduct post-event debriefs and analyse client feedback; produce event performance reports and implement improvements for future events.
Candidate Requirements

Education
Bachelor's in Event Management, Hospitality or Marketing; CMP from the Events Industry Council or CPCE certification is strongly preferred.

Experience
5 to 9 years in hotel events with at least 3 years as Event Manager managing large-scale corporate events, weddings and MICE in a Dubai or UAE 5-star hotel.

Commercial Skills
Strong event revenue management skills; proven ability to convert event enquiries, upsell hotel services and deliver events within profitable budget parameters.

Excellent project management, multi-vendor coordination and client management skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent events calmly and professionally.
