About the Shift Incharge Role
Shift Incharge supervises one complete production shift (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am), manages operators and ensures production targets.
Responsible for machine operations, quality checks, attendance monitoring and shift handovers in packaging manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities

Production Target Achievement
Achieve daily shift production targets, monitor line speed and ensure 80%+ machine utilization during 8-hour shift.

Operator Supervision
Supervise 15-25 machine operators, assign work stations, monitor performance and ensure safe machine operations.

Machine & Quality Monitoring
Monitor packaging machines (printing, lamination, slitting), check quality every 2 hours and report breakdowns immediately.

Shift Documentation
Maintain production logbook, record downtime reasons, quality rejections and complete shift-end report for next shift.

Safety & Discipline
Ensure PPE usage, machine safety guards, 5S housekeeping and maintain shift discipline/attendance records.
Candidate Requirements

Education
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Diploma in Printing Technology preferred.

Experience
2–5 years in packaging manufacturing with 1+ year as shift supervisor/operator handling packaging machines.

Skills
Shift management, operator handling, basic machine troubleshooting, production reporting, team discipline.

Other Requirements
Rotational shift working (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am), good communication, local candidates preferred.
