About the Senior Manager Quality Role
Senior Manager Quality leads the quality assurance function, ISO certification, supplier quality and customer complaint resolution.
Responsible for maintaining quality standards across packaging production, achieving zero-defect targets and audit compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Quality Management System
Lead ISO 9001:2015 implementation, internal audits, management reviews and continuous quality improvement programs.

In-process Quality Control
Monitor production quality at critical control points, maintain first pass yield >98%, implement SPC and defect tracking systems.

Supplier Quality Management
Conduct supplier audits, raw material inspection, vendor development and ensure 100% compliance with quality standards.

Customer Quality & Complaints
Resolve customer complaints within 48 hours using 8D methodology, achieve PPM <100 and maintain customer satisfaction scores.

Quality Team Leadership
Manage 15-25 quality inspectors, lab technicians and engineers; conduct training programs and performance management.
Candidate Requirements

Education
B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Experience
7–12 years in packaging manufacturing quality function with 3+ years in managerial roles.

Skills
ISO 9001, 8D problem solving, SPC, FMEA, quality auditing, team leadership, customer quality management.

Other Requirements
Knowledge of packaging materials testing, print quality standards and regulatory compliance for food packaging.
