-
Structural Design & Dielines
Design structural concepts and create accurate dielines for mono cartons, corrugated boxes, sleeves, inserts and PDUs as per product dimensions, protection needs and customer specifications.
-
CAD Modeling & Drawings
Develop 2D CAD drawings and, where required, 3D mockups of packaging structures using software such as ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD or similar tools, including complete fold, cut and crease details.
-
Print & Die‑cut Feasibility
Check print and die‑cut feasibility on offset/gravure/flexo machines, define bleed, tolerances, gripper/side lay, nicks and stripping details and optimize nesting for material efficiency and machine productivity.
-
Artwork & Graphic Coordination
Share final dielines with graphic designers, support correct placement of artwork, barcodes and mandatory information, and ensure all graphics stay within safe zones and away from creases and cuts.
-
Sampling & Trials
Coordinate with sampling/plotter team to develop physical samples, validate fit with product, check assembly and stacking strength and support line trials and transport tests when required.
-
Documentation & Standardization
Maintain a structured library of approved dielines and CAD drawings, update revision history and develop standard templates based on common packaging styles for repeat use.
