About the Telecom Analyst Role
Telecom and IT company in Moradabad are hiring Telecom Analysts to collect, process and analyse network performance, customer and commercial data to generate actionable insights for operations and planning teams.
Candidates with strong data analysis skills, familiarity with telecom KPIs, proficiency in SQL, Excel and BI tools and prior experience in telecom network or commercial analytics are preferred for these roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Performance Analysis
Collect and analyse telecom network performance data including throughput, latency, uptime and fault trends across Moradabad circle infrastructure.
- KPI Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly KPI dashboards and reports for NOC, operations and senior management; automate recurring reports where possible.
- Root Cause Analysis Support
Support the engineering team in data-driven root cause analysis of recurring network issues; identify patterns from historical alarm and fault data.
- Commercial & Business Analytics
Analyse subscriber data, ARPU trends and churn patterns to support sales and marketing strategy decisions for telecom products.
- Data Modelling & Forecasting
Develop data models and forecasts for network capacity planning, subscriber growth projections and operational budget inputs.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in ECE or IT, or BSc in Statistics or Computer Science from a recognised university in Uttar Pradesh or elsewhere.
- Experience
2-7 years in telecom analytics, network data analysis or business intelligence roles at a telecom company or IT/analytics firm.
- Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI or Tableau; Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Telecom Domain Knowledge
Understanding of telecom KPIs, network elements, OSS/BSS data structures and commercial metrics relevant to ISP and mobile operators.
