About the Showroom Salesman / Sales Girl Jewellery Role
Showroom Salesman / Sales Girl in a jewellery showroom is a customer‑facing role where you attend walk‑in customers, show jewellery items and help them choose the right products.
You support the counter in charge, maintain displays, assist in billing and ensure every customer has a friendly and comfortable shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities

Welcoming Customers
Greet walk‑in customers politely, offer them a seat or water if needed and understand their requirement for ornaments, coins or gift items.

Showing Jewellery at Counter
Take out jewellery safely from the counter, display different designs, help customers try items and keep the table neat and clean.

Assisting in Price Explanation
Support senior sales staff in explaining weight, rate, discounts and exchange offers, and call counter in‑charge for any negotiation or approval.

Billing & Packing Support
Share product details for billing, carry items to cashier or packing section, check bill items before handing over jewellery to customers.

Stock & Display Maintenance
Arrange jewellery on trays and stands, follow stock counting procedures at opening and closing time and keep counters clean and presentable.

Service & Behaviour
Maintain good grooming, polite language and showroom discipline, handle customers patiently even during rush and festival seasons.
Candidate Requirements

Education
Minimum 10th or 12th Pass; higher qualification is an advantage but not compulsory for experienced showroom staff.

Experience
0–4 years in jewellery showroom, textile or garment, footwear or any retail shop; freshers with good attitude and communication are welcome.

Skills
Basic communication skills, ability to talk politely with all age groups, basic maths for counting and a careful approach while handling jewellery.

Local language fluency, readiness to work showroom timings, weekends and festival rush, and staying within comfortable travelling distance to Moradabad.
