About the Sector Head / Site In-charge Role

Hiring Sector Heads and Site In-charge to a Telecom company in Moradabad. Responsibilities are to lead field teams, manage BTS/FTTH site operations and ensure network uptime targets are met in assigned geographic zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sector Operations Leadership

    Lead and manage a team of Field Engineers and Technicians responsible for telecom site operations within assigned sector zones in Moradabad.

  • SLA & Uptime Management

    Monitor site-level uptime KPIs, resolve escalated faults within SLA timelines and report performance to the Area Manager.

  • Team Management

    Allocate daily work to field team members, review attendance, conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for junior engineers.

  • Vendor & Contractor Oversight

    Supervise third-party contractors performing maintenance, installation and civil works at telecom sites in the assigned sector.

  • Incident Escalation & Resolution

    Handle major network incidents, coordinate with NOC and ensure timely resolution; compile incident reports for management.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education

    B.E./B.Tech in ECE or EEE from a recognised university; MBA in Operations or Project Management is an added advantage.

  • Experience

    4-10 years in telecom field operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role managing field staff.

  • Leadership Skills

    Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a field team; strong communication in and English for stakeholder management.

  • Technical Knowledge

    In-depth knowledge of telecom site equipment, power systems, OFC networks and telecom KPI metrics.
