About the Receptionist / Front Office Executive Role
Receptionist / Front Office Executive in a jewellery showroom is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting customers and guiding them to the right counters.
You handle incoming calls, basic enquiries, appointments and small admin tasks, ensuring every visitor gets a smooth and professional first impression of the showroom.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Welcome & Check‑in
Greet walk‑in customers politely, understand the purpose of visit and direct them to gold, diamond, exchange or service counters as required.

Front Desk & Call Management
Answer incoming phone calls, provide basic information on timings, location and schemes, transfer calls to relevant departments and record messages when needed.

Appointment & Token Handling
Maintain appointment register for premium or prior‑booking customers, issue tokens or serial numbers and manage waiting area during peak hours.

Customer Enquiry & Follow‑up Support
Log customer enquiries for products, schemes or services, share details with sales or service team and coordinate follow‑up calls or messages when required.

Admin & Documentation
Maintain visitor registers, enquiry logs and basic front office records, support courier / document handling and coordinate with admin or HR for small tasks.

Front Area Cleanliness & Ambience
Ensure reception desk and waiting area are neat, presentable and comfortable, keep brochures or leaflets arranged and support festive decorations when needed.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass or Graduate; front office, hospitality or customer service training will be an added advantage.

Experience
1–4 years of experience as receptionist, front office executive or customer care staff in jewellery, retail, hospital, hotel or office environment.

Skills
Good communication and telephone etiquette, pleasant personality, basic computer skills, ability to multi‑task and handle customers politely even in rush.

Other Requirements
Local language fluency with basic English or Hindi, readiness to work showroom timings, weekends and festivals, and residence within easy travel distance to Moradabad.
