About the Labour Helper – Telecom Role
Telecom infrastructure contractors and ISPs in Moradabad are hiring Labour Helpers to support field teams in cable laying, trench digging, conduit installation and general material handling for FTTH and network rollout projects.
Freshers with physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors are welcome to apply. Daily wages and monthly salary options available. Work sites located across Moradabad including suburban zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Trench Digging
Dig cable trenches of required depth and width for underground OFC and conduit laying in residential and commercial areas of Moradabad.
- Cable Drum Handling
Carry and manage fibre and copper cable drums at work sites; assist in feeding cable through conduits and ducts.
- Conduit & Duct Laying
Lay HDPE conduits in dug trenches, maintain correct spacing and depth and assist in sealing after cable pulling.
- Backfilling & Reinstatement
Backfill trenches after cable laying, compact the soil and assist in minor road reinstatement under supervision of the site engineer.
- General Site Support
Provide general support to field engineers including carrying tools, materials and equipment between work areas at telecom sites.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
Class 8 or Class 10 pass; no formal technical qualification required for this role.
- Experience
Freshers welcome; 0-2 years of prior labour work in construction, civil or telecom cable sites is an advantage.
- Physical Fitness
Must be physically fit to perform outdoor labour work including digging, lifting cable drums and working in varying weather conditions.
- Availability
Immediate joiners preferred; must be available for full-day work shifts across different Moradabad and suburban work sites.
