About the Head – Network Operations Role
Major Telecom and broadband company in Moradabad are hiring Heads of Network Operations to lead the NOC, network performance management, major incident response and operations engineering functions.
Candidates with 2 years in telecom network operations leadership, deep expertise in telecom network technologies, strong incident and change management capabilities and experience running 24/7 NOC organisations are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- NOC Leadership
Lead the 24/7 Network Operations Centre team; define NOC processes, tooling, SLA frameworks and shift management for round-the-clock network visibility.
- Network Performance Management
Oversee network KPI monitoring across all technologies (4G, 5G, FTTH, IP); drive proactive optimisation to maintain best-in-class availability.
- Major Incident Management
Lead the response to major network outages; chair MIM bridges, coordinate restoration and conduct post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
- Operations Engineering
Drive automation and tooling improvements in the NOC; evaluate and implement new OSS/BSS platforms for improved operational efficiency.
- Vendor & OEM Management
Manage relationships with OEM vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) for software upgrades, support escalations and network performance improvement programs.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in ECE or Telecom Engineering with MBA in Management; ITIL Expert or equivalent certifications are a strong advantage.
- Experience
12-20 years in telecom network operations with at least 5 years leading an NOC or network operations function at a major operator.
- Technical Depth
Deep knowledge of telecom network technologies including 4G/5G RAN, IP/MPLS, OFC, FTTH and OSS/BSS platforms.
- Leadership
Experience leading large NOC and operations engineering teams; strong incident management, communication and stakeholder management skills.
