About the Department In‑charge Jewellery Role
Department In‑charge in a jewellery showroom is responsible for the overall performance of one department such as Gold, Diamond or Silver, including sales, people and display for that section.
You supervise multiple counters inside your department, support the team in closing sales, coordinate with inventory and management and ensure customers get a smooth experience in your section.
Key Responsibilities

Department‑level Sales Leadership
Monitor daily sales of all counters in your department, review product mix and schemes with the team and drive them to achieve monthly section targets.

Team Supervision & Coaching
Plan basic duty and counter allocation for your section, support new joinees, coach team members on selling skills, product knowledge and customer handling.

Customer Handling & Escalation
Personally handle high‑value, repeat or dissatisfied customers in your department, resolve issues within policy and escalate only genuine cases to showroom manager.

Display, Stock & VM for Department
Ensure displays in your section follow brand and safety standards, coordinate with inventory for required designs and support window / in‑store visuals for campaigns.

Inventory & Process Discipline
Support stock counting and audit for your department, enforce proper item movement and tagging and ensure the team follows all billing, token and security procedures.

Reporting & Coordination with Management
Share simple daily or weekly inputs on fast‑moving and slow‑moving designs, customer feedback and team performance and support management in planning schemes for the section.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass or Graduate; training in retail management or jewellery will be an advantage.

Experience
4–9 years of jewellery showroom sales experience with at least 2–3 years as senior sales / counter in‑charge or similar supervisory role.

Skills
Strong communication and leadership, good convincing skills, basic reporting ability, comfort with targets and ability to manage multiple team members and customers.

Other Requirements
Local language fluency with basic English or Hindi, readiness to work showroom timings, weekends and festivals and willingness to work full‑time for one showroom in Moradabad.
