About the Cashier / Teller Gold Loan Role
Cashier / Teller – Gold Loan is responsible for all cash‑related transactions in the branch like loan disbursement, interest collections and closures.
You ensure accurate cash handling, proper receipts and end‑of‑day balancing in coordination with Branch Manager and audit team.
Key Responsibilities

Cash Disbursement
Disburse gold loan amounts in cash / bank mode as per approved files, after verifying customer ID and authorization.

Receipt & Collections
Accept interest, principal, part‑payments and other charges from customers, issue system receipts and update records.

Vault & Cash Management
Maintain optimum branch cash level, handle cash transfers with bank/other branches and follow dual‑custody norms for vault operations.

Day‑end Tally & Reporting
Tally cash balance with system at end of day, resolve differences and support preparation of daily cash reports.

Compliance & Controls
Follow KYC, AML and internal guidelines while handling cash, support audits and maintain confidentiality of customer data.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass / Graduate. Basic accounting knowledge and computer literacy preferred.

Experience
1–4 years as Cashier / Teller in NBFC / bank / finance company or retail outlet with heavy cash handling.

Skills
Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, honesty and ability to work under pressure during rush hours.

High integrity, willingness to follow strict cash control procedures and readiness to work full branch timings.
