About the Area Sales Executive – Telecom Role
Hiring Area Sales Executive to a Telecom and broadband ISPs provider in Moradabad. the reponsibilities are to manage sales activities in a defined geographic territory, lead a small team of field sales executives and deliver monthly connection targets.
Candidates with prior experience in area-level telecom or broadband sales, team supervision and channel management in Moradabad or other Uttar Pradesh cities are preferred for these leadership-track roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Sales Management
Plan and execute sales activities across an assigned area of Moradabad; divide territory among field executives and monitor performance.
- Team Leadership
Guide, motivate and supervise 3-6 field sales executives; accompany them on key calls and provide on-ground sales coaching.
- Channel Partner Management
Identify, onboard and manage local cable operators, shop owners and sub-dealers as channel partners for connection sales in the area.
- Revenue & Target Tracking
Track daily/weekly new connection numbers against monthly targets; prepare area sales review reports for the Area Sales Manager.
- Competitor Intelligence
Monitor competitor broadband plans, offers and new area launches in the territory and share market intelligence with the sales team.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
Any degree from a recognised college; BBA, B.Com or engineering background is an advantage for area sales management roles.
- Experience
0-6 years in telecom, broadband or FMCG area sales with experience in managing a small field team and channel partners.
- Sales Track Record
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed area-level sales targets; experience in channel partner development is preferred.
- Leadership & Communication
Ability to lead a small field team; clear communication in and English; strong knowledge of Moradabad's residential areas.
