About the Teller Gold Loan Role
Teller – Gold Loan is a counter role focused on handling customer cash transactions, issuing receipts and supporting branch financial discipline.
You work at the front counter, handle high‑volume transactions and ensure accurate recording in the system.
Key Responsibilities

Counter Transactions
Process deposits (interest, principal, charges), withdrawals and closure payments for gold loan customers.

Receipt & System Posting
Issue printed receipts, post all transactions in system accurately and check voucher details before completion.

Customer Service at Counter
Respond to basic customer queries about payment status, balance and due dates and guide them to relevant staff when needed.

Cash & Vault Handling
Maintain cash within approved limits, support vault cash transfer and follow dual‑control procedures.

Day‑end Balancing
Tally physical cash with system balance, rectify mismatches and assist in daily cash report preparation.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass / Graduate with basic computer knowledge.

Experience
1–4 years as Teller / Cashier in NBFC, bank or high‑volume retail outlet.

Skills
Numerical accuracy, speed in handling cash, honesty and customer‑friendly behaviour.

Other Requirements
Comfortable with full‑day counter work and ready to follow strict cash control rules.
