About the Revenue Assurance Analyst Role
Telecom in Firozabad are hiring Revenue Assurance Analysts to identify and plug revenue leakages across billing, provisioning and interconnect processes, and to detect and prevent fraudulent usage patterns.
Candidates with experience in telecom RA, billing reconciliation, fraud detection or financial analytics with strong SQL and data analysis skills and knowledge of telecom billing and interconnect systems are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Leakage Detection
Analyse billing, usage and provisioning data to identify mismatches, unbilled usage and system configuration errors causing revenue leakage.
- Billing Reconciliation
Reconcile CDR data against billing system outputs; identify discrepancies in rated records, tariff configurations and bill generation processes.
- Fraud Detection
Monitor usage patterns for fraud indicators such as SIM boxing, PBX hacking, wangiri and roaming fraud; raise alerts for investigation.
- Interconnect & Roaming RA
Verify interconnect and roaming settlement data; identify disputes with carriers and coordinate with the wholesale team for revenue recovery.
- RA Reporting & Controls
Prepare monthly revenue assurance control reports for senior management; track KPIs for revenue at risk and recovery amounts.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in ECE/CSE or B.Com with strong analytics background; certification in Revenue Assurance (GRAPA) is an advantage.
- Experience
2-7 years in telecom revenue assurance, billing analytics or fraud management at a mobile, fixed or broadband telecom operator.
- Technical Skills
Advanced SQL for data querying across BSS/OSS databases; proficiency in Excel; experience with RA tools (Subex, cVidya or similar).
- Domain Knowledge
Good understanding of telecom billing architecture, CDRs, tariff structures, interconnect settlements and fraud scenarios.
