About the Regional Manager – Telecom Role
Hiring Regional Manager To a Telecom Company based in Firozabad to lead all commercial, operational and people functions across the Uttar Pradesh region.
Candidates with 1 years in telecom with a proven track record in P&L management, large team leadership and regional growth strategy in the Indian telecom market are preferred for this strategic leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional P&L Management
Own the P&L for the assigned region (Uttar Pradesh / South India); manage revenue, cost and EBITDA targets in collaboration with business heads.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead Operations, Sales, Network and Customer Service functions across the region; align all functions toward common regional objectives.
- Business Growth Strategy
Develop and execute regional growth strategies for subscriber acquisition, ARPU improvement and market share gains in Uttar Pradesh.
- Government & Regulatory Liaison
Manage relationships with state government bodies, TRAI representatives and civic authorities on telecom regulatory and infrastructure matters.
- Talent & Organisation Development
Build a high-performance regional team; identify leadership talent, develop succession plans and drive a culture of accountability and excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
MBA from a premier institution with B.E./B.Tech in ECE or Telecom; additional telecom management qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience
10-18 years inTelecom Company industry with at least 4 years in a regional or circle head role at a major telecom operator in India.
- Leadership
Proven track record of leading large multi-functional teams; experience in managing organisations of 200+ people across geographies.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen
Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management, strategic planning, investor reporting and regulatory compliance in telecom.
