About the Pre-Sales Engineer – Telecom Solutions Role
Hiring Pre-Sales Engineers to a telecom company in Firozabad to work alongside the sales team, understand customer requirements, design technical solutions and prepare proposals for broadband, leased line and managed connectivity deals.
Candidates with a strong technical background in telecom networking, experience in solution architecture for enterprise connectivity and the ability to present technical proposals to CTO-level audiences are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Requirement Analysis
Engage with enterprise customers in Firozabad to understand connectivity requirements; conduct site surveys and technical assessments for solution design.
- Solution Architecture & Design
Design end-to-end telecom and connectivity solutions including MPLS VPN, SD-WAN, leased line and managed broadband for enterprise RFPs.
- Technical Proposal Preparation
Prepare detailed technical proposals, solution diagrams, BOQs and commercial summaries to support the B2B sales team in deal closure.
- Customer Presentations
Present technical solutions confidently to IT managers, CIOs and procurement teams; handle technical objections during the sales process.
- Post-Sale Handover
Coordinate technical handover to the delivery team after deal closure; support the customer during the onboarding and implementation phase.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in ECE or CSE from a recognised university; MBA or PG diploma in Sales/Marketing is an advantage for pre-sales roles.
- Experience
3-8 years in telecom pre-sales, network solution design or technical sales support at a telecom operator, ISP or enterprise IT company.
- Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of MPLS VPN, SD-WAN, leased lines, broadband, cloud connectivity and enterprise networking architecture.
- Communication
Excellent presentation and written English; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical decision makers.
