About the Operations Manager – Telecom Role
Hiring Operations Manager to a Telecom Company in Firozabad to lead the entire service and field operations for the Firozabad circle or city cluster, managing multiple Area Managers and ensuring top-quartile service KPIs.
Candidates with 7+ years in senior telecom operations roles, strong P&L understanding and the ability to manage complex, multi-layered operations across large urban and suburban areas are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- City-Wide Operations Leadership
Lead all field service, installation, maintenance and FTTH operations across Firozabad; manage a team of Area Managers and their respective field organisations.
- KPI Excellence & Governance
Define, track and report on city-level KPIs including network uptime, MTTR, customer satisfaction and SLA compliance; conduct monthly governance reviews.
- Strategic Planning
Develop annual operational plans including headcount, budget, vendor strategy and technology adoption for improving service delivery in Firozabad.
- Escalation & Crisis Management
Lead resolution of major network outages and service escalations; coordinate with NOC, engineering and vendor teams for rapid restoration.
- Stakeholder Management
Interface with senior leadership, government authorities, building management associations and large enterprise customers on operational matters.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in ECE or EEE with MBA in Operations or General Management from a recognised institution; PMP certification is an advantage.
- Experience
7-15 years in telecom operations with at least 4 years in a city or regional operations manager role at a telecom operator or ISP.
- Leadership
Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience managing organisations of 50-200+ field staff across multiple geographic layers.
- Strategic Thinking
Ability to develop and execute operational strategies, manage budgets effectively and balance service quality with cost efficiency.
