About the Jewellery Sales Associate / Assistant Role
Jewellery Sales Associate / Jewellery Sales Assistant is a key counter‑level role responsible for handling customers independently, understanding their needs and closing jewellery sales.
You manage display at your counter, present collections professionally, explain product details and work towards monthly individual and showroom targets.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Consultation & Styling
Engage with customers to understand occasion, budget and style preference, suggest suitable gold, diamond or silver designs and help them finalise selections.

Product Knowledge & Demonstration
Explain metal purity, stone details, making charges, certifications, offers and schemes clearly, building trust and confidence with customers.

Upselling & Cross‑selling
Promote higher‑value designs where suitable, recommend matching pieces and cross‑sell coins, chains, bangles or daily‑wear jewellery to increase bill value.

Billing & Transaction Handling
Coordinate with cashier or operate POS as per showroom policy, ensure correct item codes, weight and discounts, and handle cash or digital payments responsibly.

Display, Stock & Hygiene
Maintain attractive and clean displays, follow security and stock counting procedures, report damages or discrepancies and keep counter ready for customers at all times.

Targets, Follow‑ups & Service
Achieve monthly personal and counter targets, collect customer details for follow‑ups, inform them about new collections and provide after‑sales support when needed.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass or Graduate; candidates with retail or jewellery certification will have an advantage.

Experience
1–5 years of experience as jewellery sales executive, showroom sales associate or similar luxury / fashion retail role.

Skills
Strong communication and convincing skills, customer‑oriented attitude, good grooming, basic computer and POS handling, and comfort with targets.

Other Requirements
Local language fluency, ability to work showroom shifts, weekends and festivals, and residence within reasonable distance from Firozabad.
