About the IT Support Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities

  • L1/L2 Helpdesk Support

    Provide first and second level IT support to telecom company staff via phone, email and on-site visits; resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.

  • Desktop & Laptop Management

    Set up, configure and maintain employee laptops, desktops and peripherals; manage Windows OS deployments and software installations.

  • LAN & Network Support

    Troubleshoot office LAN issues including switch port problems, Wi-Fi connectivity and IP conflicts; coordinate with network team for escalations.

  • Active Directory & Email

    Manage user accounts, password resets and access provisioning in Active Directory; support Microsoft 365 email and collaboration tools.

  • Asset Management

    Maintain accurate IT asset register including hardware inventory, licence tracking and disposal records for the telecom company office in Firozabad.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education

    B.E./B.Tech in CSE or IT, or Diploma in Computer Science/IT from a recognised institution in Uttar Pradesh.

  • Experience

    1-5 years in IT support, helpdesk or desktop support roles at a telecom, IT or corporate services company in Firozabad.

  • Technical Skills

    Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi), and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira or similar).

  • Communication

    Good English and communication for user-facing helpdesk interactions; patient and systematic approach to IT problem resolution.
