About the Installation Manager – Telecom Role
Telecom and ISPs aggressively expanding FTTH networks in Firozabad are hiring Installation Managers to oversee end-to-end new connection installation operations, manage installation teams and subcontractors and ensure quality and SLA delivery.
Candidates with 5+ years in managing large-scale telecom or broadband installation operations, FTTH project delivery experience and strong vendor management skills in Firozabad or similar metros are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation Operations Management
Manage all new broadband and FTTH installation activities across Firozabad; oversee teams of Installation Engineers and subcontractors for daily target achievement.
- Quality Assurance
Define and enforce installation quality standards; conduct site audits, review ATP documents and take corrective action on quality deviations.
- SLA & TAT Management
Monitor installation turnaround times against SLA targets; identify bottlenecks in the installation pipeline and implement process improvements.
- Team & Vendor Management
Lead a team of Installation Engineers and Supervisors; manage subcontractor performance, ensure safety compliance and control installation costs.
- Material & Inventory Management
Oversee CPE, OFC and accessories inventory; ensure adequate stock levels for daily installation requirements and manage material logistics.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in ECE or EEE from a recognised university; Diploma candidates with extensive installation management experience may also be considered.
- Experience
5-12 years inTelecom Company installation operations, including at least 3 years managing a team-level installation function at an ISP or telecom operator.
- FTTH Knowledge
Deep knowledge of FTTH installation processes, OFC splicing, GPON OLT/ONT configuration and broadband CPE setup and testing.
- Leadership
Ability to manage a large and distributed installation workforce; strong planning, communication and subcontractor negotiation skills.
