About the Counter In‑charge Jewellery Role
Counter In‑charge in a jewellery showroom is responsible for overall performance of one sales counter, including customer handling, team coordination and display at that counter.
You act as the first escalation point for customers at your counter, support the showroom in achieving daily and monthly targets and ensure smooth functioning of that section.
Key Responsibilities

Counter‑level Customer Handling
Welcome customers who come to your counter, understand their requirements and personally handle premium or complex enquiries to ensure good conversion.

Team Coordination at Counter
Allocate walk‑in customers among team members, support them in presentations, step in when they need help and maintain a disciplined and energetic counter environment.

Sales Targets & Add‑on Focus
Monitor daily sales for your counter, push add‑on and cross‑selling opportunities like matching pieces and schemes and work to achieve counter‑level monthly targets.

Display, Stock & Safety at Counter
Ensure trays are neat, filled and attractive, coordinate with inventory for required designs, and maintain safety and counting discipline for pieces handled at the counter.

Billing Coordination & Approvals
Verify items and discounts before billing when needed, coordinate with cashier for smooth billing and support approvals as per showroom policy for your counter.

Customer Feedback & Service
Handle small complaints immediately, escalate genuine issues to showroom in‑charge, collect feedback from customers and try to convert them into repeat buyers for the showroom.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass or Graduate; jewellery or retail sales training will be an advantage.

Experience
3–8 years of jewellery showroom sales experience with at least 1–2 years handling independent counter or senior sales responsibilities.

Skills
Strong communication and convincing skills, basic leadership ability, good grooming, confidence with targets and comfort in handling multiple customers at a time.

Other Requirements
Local language fluency with basic English or Hindi, readiness to work showroom timings, weekends and festivals and willingness to work full‑time for one showroom in Firozabad.
