About the Cashier Jewellery Showroom Role
Cashier in a jewellery showroom is responsible for accurate billing, secure handling of cash and digital payments and maintaining proper records for every transaction.
You work closely with sales and customer care teams to ensure customers finish their purchase smoothly and leave the showroom with correct bills and payments settled.
Key Responsibilities

Billing & Invoicing
Prepare and process bills using jewellery billing or POS software, ensure correct item codes, weight, rate, discounts and taxes on every invoice.

Payment Collection
Handle cash, card, UPI and other digital payments securely, count cash carefully, issue receipts and return correct balance to customers.

Day‑end Cash & POS Reconciliation
Maintain cash register, tally cash, card slips and UPI settlements at the end of shift and prepare day‑end cash and sales summary for accounts.

Verification & Approvals
Verify high‑value bills, old gold exchange details and discounts as per showroom policy and take necessary approvals from manager where required.

Records & Documentation
Maintain organised files of invoices, refund notes and payment records, support internal audits and ensure compliance with company guidelines.

Customer Service at Billing Counter
Greet customers at the billing counter, answer basic queries on bill details, handle billing issues politely and coordinate with sales team for clarifications.
Candidate Requirements

Education
12th Pass or Graduate in any stream; basic accounts or Tally knowledge will be an added advantage.

Experience
2–6 years of experience as cashier or billing executive in jewellery, retail, supermarket or similar environment with regular cash handling.

Skills
Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, trustworthiness, basic computer and POS skills and ability to work under rush and festival pressure.

Other Requirements
Local language fluency, readiness for showroom timings and weekend or festival working, and staying within easy travel distance to Firozabad.
