Role Overview
This role is suited for physiotherapy professionals who want to work closely with patients in a clinical environment and support their recovery and mobility. You will assess physical conditions, plan treatment sessions, and provide ongoing physiotherapy care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The position is based in Salem and includes both outpatient and inpatient exposure depending on case requirements and the schedule at the center.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, post-surgical, and sports-related conditions.
- Plan and deliver individualized treatment sessions using exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy as required.
- Demonstrate and supervise home exercise programs and educate patients and caregivers on posture and movement.
- Track progress, update case notes, and review treatment plans at regular intervals.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and rehab team members for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain treatment areas, therapy equipment, and basic clinical protocols during all sessions.
Experience and Profile
- Clinical exposure in physiotherapy center, hospital, or home care setup is an advantage.
- Comfortable handling different age groups and conditions with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Ability to explain treatment plans clearly and motivate patients to follow exercise routines.
- Willingness to work in assigned shifts and occasionally support weekend or home visit schedules as needed.
