Role Overview
This entry-level role is designed for graduates who want to start their career in medical coding and healthcare revenue cycle management. You will learn how to read basic medical records, understand documentation, and support senior coders in assigning standard codes.
The position is based in Salem and includes structured training, on-the-job learning, and exposure to coding tools and workflow used by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing patient records, discharge summaries, and doctors’ notes as part of the coding process.
- Enter and update basic details in the coding system under the guidance of senior team members.
- Flag missing or unclear information from medical documents for clarification from the coding lead.
- Follow internal guidelines for handling records, naming files, and tracking assigned cases.
- Support daily productivity and quality targets by completing allocated trainee-level tasks on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow company policies on data handling.

- Genuine interest in medical coding and willingness to learn coding guidelines and basic healthcare terminology.
- Comfortable working on computers for long durations and following step-by-step processes.
- Ability to focus on accuracy and details while handling repetitive documentation-related work.
