Role Overview
This role is suitable for candidates who want to work as Machine Operators in a manufacturing company in Salem. You will operate production machines, feed raw materials, and monitor output to ensure that parts and products meet basic quality standards.
The position is plant-based and involves working on shop floor machines like presses, CNC, injection moulding, or packaging equipment depending on the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Start and stop machines as per shift instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
- Load raw materials or parts into machines and ensure continuous feeding during operation.
- Observe machine operation, check output parts visually, and remove any clearly defective pieces.
- Make basic adjustments like speed, feed, or simple settings as instructed by supervisors or setters.
- Keep the work area clean, remove scrap, and place finished parts in designated bins or pallets.
- Update simple production logs such as quantity produced, rejections, and machine down time.
Experience and Profile
- Prior experience as a machine operator, helper, or production operator is an advantage but not always mandatory.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in factory environment with shift timings.
- Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and basic quality guidelines shared by line incharge.
- Ready to work at company locations in and around Salem industrial areas.
