Role Overview
HR Recruiter jobs in Salem for a company involve managing end‑to‑end recruitment for different departments, sourcing suitable profiles, screening candidates and coordinating interviews till final selection and joining.
You will work closely with hiring managers, understand manpower requirements, publish job postings, use job portals and social media for sourcing and keep recruitment trackers and reports updated on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with hiring managers to understand job descriptions, skills required and timelines for IT and non‑IT positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, references, databases and consultancy partners.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial telephonic interviews and shortlist candidates based on fitment and salary range.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with panels, share feedback with candidates and ensure smooth communication.
- Maintain candidate pipelines, update status in Excel / ATS and follow up to reduce drop‑outs and no‑shows.
- Negotiate salary, notice period and joining date with selected candidates and assist in offer rollout.
- Support pre‑joining engagement, document collection and handover to HR for onboarding formalities.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly recruitment reports on positions open, closures and pipeline status.
Candidate Profile
- Any degree; MBA HR / HR certification preferred but not mandatory.
- 0–3 years experience as HR Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Executive in consultancy or corporate HR; freshers with good communication can also apply.
- Good knowledge of job portals, social media sourcing and basic HR recruitment process.
- Strong communication, coordination and follow‑up skills with ability to handle multiple positions at a time.
- Comfortable working with MS Excel, email and basic HR tools and willing to work in fast‑paced target‑driven environment.
