Role Overview
Call Center Executive – Outbound jobs in Salem for a company involve making outgoing calls to potential or existing customers to promote products or services, share information and generate leads or sales.
As an outbound call center executive, you will follow calling scripts, explain offers in simple language, answer basic queries and update call details in the company’s system while working towards daily call and conversion targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to customers from the given database to explain products, services, offers or campaigns.
- Follow a simple calling script, listen to customer needs and give clear and polite responses.
- Capture customer interest, fix call‑backs, schedule appointments or close basic sales over phone as per process.
- Update customer details, call status and feedback correctly in CRM or Excel after every call.
- Achieve daily / weekly calling targets such as number of calls, talk time and conversions set by the company.
- Transfer or escalate calls to seniors when the customer has complex queries or complaints.
- Maintain a professional tone on every call and follow the company’s quality and compliance guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 12th pass; graduates are preferred for Call Center Executive – Outbound jobs in Salem.
- 0–3 years experience in telecalling, telesales or outbound call center will be an added advantage; freshers with good communication can also apply.
- Good speaking skills in local language and basic English, with confidence to talk to customers over phone.
- Basic knowledge of using computers and handling simple CRM or calling software.
- Comfortable working in day shifts with 6‑day working pattern as per company policy.
