Role Overview

We are looking for passionate Computer Teachers to join a school in Karaikkudi. You will be responsible for delivering computer science curriculum to students from grades 5 to 12, covering fundamentals, programming languages, and practical lab sessions.

The role involves lesson planning, conducting theory and practical classes, assessing student performance, and fostering interest in technology among students. Both experienced teachers and freshers with strong subject knowledge can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach computer science subjects including fundamentals, MS Office, internet, and programming languages (Python / Java / C++).
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical assignments as per curriculum.
  • Conduct computer lab sessions and guide students during hands-on practice.
  • Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and practical exams.
  • Maintain student progress records and communicate with parents (if required).
  • Stay updated with latest technology trends and introduce new topics to students.
  • Ensure lab equipment and software are functioning properly; coordinate with IT support if needed.

Candidate Profile

  • B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA / M.Sc (CS) / MCA / B.Ed (Comp Science) or equivalent.
  • 0–3 years of teaching experience (freshers with good subject knowledge can apply).
  • Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Python / Java / C++).
  • Familiarity with school curriculum (CBSE / State Board / ICSE) is a plus.
  • Good communication and classroom management skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.

Subjects to Teach

  • Fundamentals: Computer basics, hardware, software, operating systems.
  • Applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, email.
  • Programming: Python, Java, C++, HTML/CSS (depending on grade level).
  • Database: Basic SQL (for higher classes).
  • Web Design: HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals (optional).
