Role Overview
This opening is for Tele Sales Manager jobs in Coimbatore for a company. The Tele Sales Manager will lead a telesales team, plan and execute calling campaigns and ensure sales and lead conversion targets are achieved every month.
You will monitor daily calling activities, guide the team on sales pitch and objection handling and act as the main link between management and the telesales team for targets, performance and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of telecallers / telesales executives to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Allocate leads and calling data, monitor call volume, talk time, follow‑ups and conversion ratios and improve team productivity.
- Prepare and refine calling scripts, FAQs and sales pitch for different products or campaigns of the company.
- Train and onboard new tele sales executives on product knowledge, CRM usage, call etiquette and objection handling.
- Listen to recorded calls or live barged calls, share feedback and conduct regular coaching sessions to improve quality.
- Handle escalated customer calls, complaints and complex queries and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Coordinate with marketing and field sales teams to ensure proper follow‑up on hot leads and closures.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports on calls, leads, conversions and revenue and share with management.
Candidate Profile
- Any graduate with 3–8 years experience in telesales / inside sales, including at least 1–2 years in team leader or manager role.
- Strong communication skills in English and local language, with good convincing and negotiation skills over phone.
- Good understanding of telesales metrics such as contact rate, conversion rate, AHT and follow‑up discipline.
- Hands‑on experience with CRM tools, dialer systems and basic Excel reporting.
- Ability to lead a team, manage targets and maintain a positive, performance‑oriented work environment.
