About the Chat Support Executive Role
Hiring Chat Support Executives in Chennai BPO and ITES companies to handle customer queries through live chat, email and messaging platforms for domestic and international clients.
The role is fully online and involves responding to customer questions, resolving basic issues, sharing information about products or services and maintaining high customer satisfaction through written communication.
Key Responsibilities

Live Chat Support
Handle customer queries on live chat in a timely and professional manner, understand the concern clearly and provide accurate replies by following process guidelines and knowledge base articles.

Issue Resolution & Escalation
Troubleshoot basic product or service issues, guide customers with step-by-step solutions, and escalate complex or unresolved cases to senior team members or other departments with proper notes.

Multi-Chat Handling
Manage multiple chat windows at the same time, maintain speed and accuracy in typing and ensure that all customers receive timely responses without long waiting times in the queue.

Documentation & Feedback
Record details of each interaction in CRM or ticketing tools, tag issues correctly, capture customer feedback and share repeated issues or suggestions with the quality or product team when required.

Quality & Process Compliance
Follow company communication guidelines, scripts and quality standards, maintain data privacy and security and work towards meeting targets on response time, quality score and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements

Education
Any degree or diploma; candidates with strong English written skills and basic computer knowledge are preferred for chat process roles.

Experience
0–4 years experience in BPO, customer support, chat or email process; freshers with good typing speed and communication can also apply for entry-level positions.

Skills
Excellent written English, fast and accurate typing, basic troubleshooting, ability to handle multiple chats and a customer-focused attitude while working in a target-based environment.

Ready to work in rotational shifts (day / night) based on process requirements, comfortable with office-based or hybrid model in Chennai and willing to undergo process training and assessments.
