Hiring Canteen Boys in Chennai for office canteens and mess to help in serving food, cleaning tables and supporting kitchen staff.

The role includes helping in basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and assisting customers and employees during breakfast, lunch and dinner timings.

• Food Serving

  Serve meals, tea and snacks to staff and students or employees in the canteen and refill items on the counter as required.

• Cleaning and Hygiene

  Clean tables, plates and glasses, keep the dining area neat and follow basic hygiene and safety rules inside the canteen.

• Kitchen Support

  Help kitchen team in cutting vegetables, washing utensils, moving supplies and keeping the kitchen area organised as instructed by cook or supervisor.

• Stock and Refill

  Check and refill water, chutney, plates and other items on the counter and inform supervisor when stock is low or items are needed from store.

• General Help

  Support canteen manager or supervisor in any other simple work related to canteen operations during working hours.

• Education

  Basic schooling; candidates with 8th, 10th or 12th pass can apply.

• Experience

  0–3 years experience in canteen, hotel, mess or housekeeping; freshers willing to learn are also accepted in some canteens.

• Skills

  Hardworking, polite behaviour, ability to stand for long hours and follow instructions from supervisor or cook.

• Others

  Ready to work in split shifts or long hours during peak times and comfortable working in canteen or mess environment in Chennai.
