About the Business Analyst Role
Hiring Business Analyst in Chennai for IT companies to gather business requirements, prepare documentation and coordinate between clients and technical teams.
The analyst will analyse processes, suggest improvements and support delivery teams in building and implementing suitable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering
Interact with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements and convert them into clear documentation and user stories.

Process Analysis
Study current business processes, identify gaps and propose improved workflows and IT solutions to increase efficiency.

Documentation
Prepare BRD, SRS, use cases and functional specifications and keep them updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordination and Support
Coordinate with development, testing and deployment teams, clarify requirements and support UAT and production rollout.

Reporting and Communication
Create reports and dashboards where required, track key metrics and communicate status and risks to project managers and stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements

Education
B.E, B.Tech, MCA, MBA (Systems) or related qualification from a recognised institution.

Experience
2–7 years experience as Business Analyst in IT or software projects, preferably with Agile or Scrum exposure.

Skills
Strong analytical skills, good knowledge of requirement gathering, basic SQL or Excel skills and excellent communication and documentation ability.

Location
Ready to work from Chennai office with hybrid or client location visits as per project requirement.
