BAMS Doctor Jobs in Chennai

Hiring BAMS Doctor in Chennai for ayurveda hospitals and wellness clinics to provide OP/IP consultations, diagnose patient conditions and prescribe suitable ayurvedic treatments and medicines.

The doctor will work with therapists, nurses and dieticians to deliver holistic ayurvedic care, monitor treatment progress and guide patients on lifestyle, diet and follow-up therapies.

• OPD & IPD Consultation

  Assess patients through history taking and examination, diagnose as per ayurvedic principles and document findings in hospital software or case sheets.

• Treatment Planning

  Prescribe ayurvedic medicines, Panchakarma / other therapies and diet recommendations based on patient condition and hospital protocols.

• Therapy Supervision

  Coordinate with therapists, brief procedures, review therapy charts and ensure treatments are given correctly and safely to each patient.

• Patient Counselling

  Counsel patients and attenders about disease, treatment plan, expected outcomes, follow-up schedule and lifestyle modifications.

• Documentation & Coordination

  Maintain prescriptions, discharge summaries and reports; coordinate with other specialists, pharmacy and front office to ensure smooth patient care.

• Education & Registration

  BAMS from recognised university with valid state ayush/medical council registration; knowledge of classical and proprietary ayurvedic medicines.

• Experience

  0–5 years experience as BAMS duty doctor / consultant in ayurveda hospital or clinic; freshers with good clinical exposure can also apply.

• Skills

  Good clinical judgement, interest in ayurvedic therapies and wellness programs, basic computer skills for EMR entry and report preparation.

• Language

  Ability to communicate in Tamil and basic English to explain treatment plans and coordinate with hospital staff and patients.
