You will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality and efficiency standards, and coordinating with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met and quality standards maintained.
  • Coordinate with cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory levels of fabrics, trims, and accessories; coordinate with procurement teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company protocols, and buyer compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with merchandising and design teams for sample development and bulk production follow-up.
  • Maintain production reports, track efficiency, and implement process improvements.
  • Train and supervise production staff, ensuring optimal workforce allocation.
  • Conduct regular quality checks at various stages of production to ensure product excellence.
  • Coordinate with vendors and job workers for outsourced processes like embroidery, printing, or finishing.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Textile Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Experience: 2โ€“8 years in garment production, preferably in export houses or manufacturing units.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, sewing techniques, and production processes.
  • Proficiency in production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
  • Understanding of quality control procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities for troubleshooting production issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production tracking software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement is a plus.
