About the Retail Sales Executive – Telecom Store Role

Key Responsibilities
- Walk-in Customer Handling
Greet and assist walk-in customers at the telecom store; understand their requirements and recommend suitable mobile or broadband plans.
- SIM Activation & Plan Sales
Process new SIM card activations, mobile number portability (MNP) requests and broadband plan sign-ups as per company procedures.
- Accessory & Device Sales
Demonstrate and sell mobile accessories, data cards and Wi-Fi devices to customers visiting the store; achieve daily accessory revenue targets.
- Bill Payment & Account Queries
Assist customers with bill payments, plan changes, ISD activation requests and general account queries at the store counter.
- Store Merchandising
Maintain neat display of products, ensure adequate stock of SIM cards and accessories and report low stock to the store manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
Any degree or HSC from a recognised board or college in Maharastra; retail or sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience
0-3 years in retail sales at a telecom store, electronics showroom or mobile shop; freshers with good communication also considered.
- Communication
Good and English communication; friendly and persuasive manner essential for engaging walk-in customers at the store.
- Product Knowledge
Willingness to learn mobile plan features, data speeds, device specifications and telecom service offerings quickly during training.
