About the IT Support Engineer – Jio Role
Jio is hiring IT Support Engineers in Pimpri-and-chinchwad to provide L1 and L2 helpdesk support to Jio's Pimpri-and-chinchwad circle staff, manage office IT infrastructure, maintain laptops, support Jio's internal business applications and manage office network.
Candidates with IT helpdesk experience, Windows/Active Directory administration skills, knowledge of Jio's enterprise IT tools and good user-facing communication skills are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Jio Staff IT Support
Provide L1/L2 IT helpdesk support to Jio Pimpri-and-chinchwad employees via in-person, phone and remote desktop for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Device Management
Set up, configure and deploy laptops, desktops and mobile devices for Jio staff; manage device enrolment in Jio's MDM platform.
- Office Network Support
Troubleshoot office Wi-Fi, LAN port and printer connectivity issues; escalate complex network problems to the Jio IT infrastructure team.
- Active Directory & Microsoft 365
Manage user account creation, password resets and access provisioning in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 for Jio Pimpri-and-chinchwad circle users.
- IT Asset Management
Maintain accurate Jio IT asset register; track hardware warranty, software licence renewals and manage end-of-life device disposal.
Candidate Requirements
- Education
B.E./B.Tech in CSE or IT, or Diploma in Computer Science/IT from a recognised institution in Maharastra.
- Experience
1-5 years in IT support or helpdesk roles at a telecom, IT services or corporate company in Pimpri-and-chinchwad.
- Technical Skills
Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, basic LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting and ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Communication
Good English and for user-facing helpdesk support; patient and methodical approach to IT problem resolution for Jio staff.
