Broadband Installation Engineer Jobs in Pimpri-Chinchwad

ISPs and telecom company in Pimpri-and-chinchwad are actively hiring Broadband Installation Engineers to install and activate broadband internet connections including FTTH, cable and wireless broadband at customer premises.

Freshers with ITI/Diploma and hands-on knowledge of router configuration, cable termination and basic networking are welcome to apply for these roles across Pimpri-and-chinchwad.

• Customer Premise Installation

  Visit customer sites in Pimpri-and-chinchwad to install broadband modems, routers, ONTs and set up Wi-Fi networks as per service plans.

• Cable Termination & Patching

  Terminate LAN cables, install patch panels, terminate RJ45 connectors and manage cable routing at customer premises neatly.

• Router & CPE Configuration

  Configure broadband routers, set PPPoE credentials, wireless SSIDs, security settings and parental controls per customer requirements.

• Speed Testing & Handover

  Test broadband speeds using standard tools, verify all services are working correctly and obtain customer sign-off on completion.

• Fault Visits & Reconnections

  Visit customer sites for broadband fault diagnosis, restore connectivity by replacing faulty CPE, cables or patching and clear trouble tickets.

• Education

  Diploma or ITI in Electronics, ECE, Computer Hardware or Networking from a recognised polytechnic or ITI in Maharastra.

• Experience

  0-3 years in broadband installation, cable TV or IT hardware support; freshers with ITI and router knowledge may also apply.

• Technical Skills

  Knowledge of RJ45 termination, router configuration (PPPoE, DHCP, Wi-Fi), basic TCP/IP and broadband CPE troubleshooting.

• Mobility

  Two-wheeler driving licence mandatory; must be willing to travel within assigned zones of Pimpri-and-chinchwad for installations and fault calls.
