Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Lab Manager for reputed multi-speciality hospitals in Nanded. You will be responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations, managing staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with other departments.

This role is ideal for senior laboratory professionals with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in clinical laboratory science. Candidates with M.Sc / B.Sc MLT and management experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily laboratory operations across all departments (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, etc.).
Supervise lab technicians, assistants, and support staff; schedule shifts and assign duties.
Implement and monitor quality control programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Maintain laboratory equipment, arrange for servicing, and manage inventory of reagents and supplies.
Ensure compliance with NABL, CAP, and other accreditation standards.
Review and verify test reports before dispatch to doctors and patients.
Coordinate with pathologists, doctors, and hospital administration for smooth operations.
Prepare budgets, reports, and maintain records for management and regulatory purposes.
Train new staff and conduct continuing education programs.

Candidate Profile

M.Sc / B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or related field.
5–10 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of clinical lab procedures, equipment, and quality control.
Experience with NABL / CAP accreditation processes is highly preferred.
Leadership skills with ability to manage a team and resolve issues.
Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
Proficiency in lab information systems and computer applications.

Laboratory Departments

Hematology: Complete blood count, coagulation studies, peripheral smear.
Biochemistry: Glucose, lipid profile, LFT, KFT, electrolytes, HbA1c.
Microbiology: Culture & sensitivity, Gram staining, serology.
Pathology: Histopathology, cytology, frozen sections.
Immunology: Hormone assays, tumor markers, ELISA.
Molecular Diagnostics: PCR, COVID testing (if applicable).
