Role Overview
This role is ideal for candidates interested in field sales and client acquisition for an insurance company in Nanded.
You will meet prospective customers, explain different insurance plans, and generate new business through direct visits, references, and leads shared by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and meet potential customers in the assigned area and explain life, health, motor, or general insurance products as per company portfolio.
- Generate leads through cold calls, references, field activities, and participation in local events or campaigns.
- Understand customer needs, suggest suitable policy options, and help them choose correct coverage and premium.
- Collect application forms and KYC documents, coordinate with branch/operations for policy issuance, and ensure timely follow‑up till activation.
- Maintain good relationship with existing customers for renewals, cross‑sell or up‑sell of additional policies, and basic support for claims follow‑up.
- Achieve monthly business targets set by the insurance company and submit basic daily/weekly sales reports to the manager.
Candidate Profile
- Any graduate with interest in sales, marketing, or financial products; experience in insurance or banking sales will be an advantage.
- Good communication and convincing skills to explain policy features in simple language and handle basic objections.
- Comfortable with field work in Nanded, visiting customers and local businesses on a daily basis as per targets.
- Basic knowledge of using smartphone apps, WhatsApp, and email for sharing proposals, tracking leads, and coordinating with office teams.
