Role Overview
This role is designed for experienced professionals who can manage end-to-end store operations in a dynamic retail environment. You will lead the in-store team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure smooth functioning of the store while delivering a consistent customer experience.
The position is based in Mumbai and covers operational planning, people management, inventory coordination, and execution of store processes in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening, closing, and shift handover routines.
- Plan staff schedules, assign daily tasks, and guide the team to meet store targets and service levels.
- Monitor stock movement, coordinate replenishment, and support regular inventory checks and controls.
- Ensure store ambience, hygiene, safety, and visual standards are maintained throughout operating hours.
- Resolve customer issues related to billing, service, or in-store experience in coordination with senior management.
- Review store performance reports and share inputs on process improvements and cost control.
Experience and Profile
- Prior work experience in retail, supermarket, fashion, or similar store operations environment.
- Exposure to team handling, shift planning, and daily store administration activities.
- Comfortable using POS systems, basic reporting tools, and store checklists for daily reviews.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders such as suppliers, service providers, and internal teams.
- Strong ownership mindset, customer orientation, and readiness to work in peak business hours.
