Role Overview
This role is ideal for candidates who want to handle store and inventory management for a company in Mumbai. You will manage receipts and issues of materials, maintain stock records, and ensure that required items are available for production or office use.
The position is store/warehouse based and involves coordination with purchase, accounts, and production or project teams on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, spares, consumables, and finished goods.
- Prepare GRN for incoming materials, verify quantity and basic specifications against purchase orders, and highlight discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date stock registers or inventory software entries for all receipts, issues, and stock adjustments.
- Monitor minimum and reorder levels, share regular stock status with management, and coordinate with purchase for timely replenishment.
- Organise the store with proper binning, labelling, and location-wise arrangement for easy identification and first-in-first-out (FIFO) usage.
- Conduct periodic physical stock checks and assist in monthly or yearly inventory audits and variance explanations.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in store, inventory, or warehouse handling in a company, trading, or manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable working with basic inventory or ERP software and Excel for stock reporting.
- Attention to detail while counting, recording, and issuing materials to avoid stock shortages or excess.
- Ready to work from the Mumbai store/warehouse location with regular office or shift timings as per company policy.
