Role Overview

This opening is for receptionist for a company in Mumbai to manage the front office and reception desk. The company receptionist will welcome visitors, attend calls and support everyday office coordination at the main entrance.

As a receptionist for a company, you will represent the company image at the reception, guide visitors and vendors, and ensure smooth movement of people and information between reception and different departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, visitors and vendors as they arrive at the company reception and inform the concerned staff member.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages and share important information with company teams.
  • Manage visitor log, issue visitor badges if required and coordinate with security or admin for entry and exit.
  • Schedule and confirm meetings in meeting rooms, manage basic booking and display meeting schedules if needed.
  • Receive courier, parcels and documents for the company, record them and pass them to the correct department.
  • Keep the reception and waiting area tidy, arrange newspapers, magazines and ensure professional appearance.
  • Support HR or admin team with simple office tasks like ID card issue coordination, document filing and printing.

Candidate Profile

  • 12th pass or graduate with interest in receptionist for a company and front office work.
  • Good communication skills, polite behaviour and presentable appearance suitable for corporate reception.
  • Basic computer knowledge with ability to use email, MS Office and simple office software or phone systems.
  • Previous experience as office receptionist, front office executive or customer care will be an added advantage.
