Role Overview
This role is ideal for candidates who want to work as Accountants in a company environment in Mumbai. You will handle day-to-day accounts entries, invoicing, statutory records, and basic financial reports for the business.
The position is office-based and involves coordination with management, vendors, and internal teams to keep accounts updated and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries in the accounting software.
- Prepare and verify customer invoices, credit notes, and basic statements of accounts.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including follow-up on payments and updating ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliation, match books with bank statements, and report differences if any.
- Support preparation of monthly GST workings, basic TDS entries, and statutory reports as guided by seniors.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and maintain proper filing of vouchers and supporting documents.
Candidate Profile
- Comfortable working with accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic office tools.
- Attention to detail while entering figures, verifying bills, and reconciling balances.
- Basic understanding of debit/credit, ledgers, and common accounting terms.
- Ready to work full time from the Mumbai office with regular business timings.
