Role Overview

We are hiring DMLT qualified Laboratory Technicians for reputed hospital in Amravati. You will be responsible for collecting patient samples, performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, operating automated analyzers, and assisting pathologists in accurate diagnosis.

This role is ideal for DMLT graduates who are passionate about laboratory science and patient care. Both experienced technicians and fresher DMLT candidates with good internship experience can apply.

Key Responsibilities

Collect patient samples (blood, urine, swabs, etc.) following proper venipuncture and safety protocols.
Perform clinical laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and pathology.
Operate and maintain automated analyzers (hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, coagulation analyzers).
Prepare reagents, stains, and culture media as required for tests.
Ensure accuracy of test results through proper quality control procedures.
Record and report test results accurately in lab information systems.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and work area.
Follow infection control and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
Assist pathologists in special procedures and reporting.

Candidate Profile

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institution.
0–4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory (freshers with good internship can apply).
Knowledge of sample collection techniques and laboratory safety protocols.
Familiarity with automated lab equipment is a plus.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Good communication skills helpful for patient interaction .
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in rotational shifts.

Tests & Procedures

Hematology: CBC, ESR, peripheral smear, coagulation studies (PT/APTT).
Biochemistry: Glucose, lipid profile, LFT, KFT, electrolytes, HbA1c.
Microbiology: Gram staining, culture & sensitivity, urine microscopy.
Serology: ELISA, rapid tests for HIV, HBsAg, HCV, typhoid, dengue.
Pathology: Sample processing for histopathology / cytology (basic).
Immunoassays: Thyroid, hormones, tumor markers (if automated).
